At Archery for Everyone, our aim is to bring you a sport were no one is left behind, were everyone is treated equally and were the skills needed along with the archery equipment used are adapted to suit individual needs. This means, we are able to call upon our years of experience to create an inclusive sport.
We have worked extensively with children and adults of all ages, backgrounds and abilities including those with special, additional and complex needs.
We believe Archery is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone and nothing makes us happier than when we see the smiling faces of our participants after they shoot their first arrow.
From the first arrow to the last, no matter who we work with, there is a massive sense of achievement all around. We celebrate the success of each participant no matter how small it may be.
Whether you book us for a birthday party, private event, family gathering, after school club or corporate event, we believe there is something to be gained by everyone who gives this sport a go.

Archery for Everyone is delighted to announce that we are now part of Archery GB’s Archery Activity Partner programme. We have agreed to form a partnership with Archery GB, act as ambassadors for the sport of archery and actively promote campaigns and events. Archery Activity Partners will always use trained, Archery GB qualified and competent staff, to deliver our archery sessions.

ABOUT US
Hello,
My name is David Thompson and I am the owner and coach at Archery for Everyone. Originally from a little village in County Down, Northern Ireland called Carrowdore, I now live in the seaside town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim.
My workshops, birthday parties and corporate events take me travelling throughout Northern Ireland.
In the last 7 years of being a qualified archery instructor with Archery GB and now a fully certified coach, I have seen first hand the enjoyment this sport can bring to many children and adults, from the age of 5 to 105.
My aim when creating Archery for Everyone was to make archery, as a sport, accessible to as many as possible. I bring archery into your setting or to your event so that all of those who take part gain a new skill while building their confidence.
The mobile aspect of this means I am able to reach many, who might not ever get the chance to try this sport for themselves.
Having attended two special schools myself when I was younger, I have a special connection with those who have special, additional and/or complex needs. I understand how challenging everyday life can sometimes be for these children and adults. I've experienced it myself and so now, I am in a position to give something back by passing on my archery skills to others who perhaps, as yet, haven't quite found something they enjoy and can excel at.
For me, the look on the faces of participants when they shoot their first arrow is priceless and one that will always remind me why, after many years of thinking about it, I finally set up Archery for Everyone.
